The Annual Meeting is a great place to make connections, build your job search skills, and have some fun! First, stop by the Society Center’s Career Center area in the Exhibit Hall. Pick up your “Passport” Card and begin your journey. Complete six activities, return your card, and you’ll be entered into the backpack drawing. Dress to impress and bring multiple copies of your resume to prepare for networking and workshopping opportunities. Activities include:

• Career Fair (more details to come!)

• 3:30 PM - Learn how to make a “WOW” resume

• 4:00 PM – Stand out during your job search

• 4:30 PM – Developing your LinkedIn Profile

• Professional Headshots (space available)

-->

• Wonder who is hiring? Look for employers with balloons at their booths and search the job ads posted by employers on the job boards

• Visit a Grad School Booth at University Way and talk to a university representative

• Have fun in the Field of Fun and play the Backpack “Key” game

• Talk with Publications staff

• Introduce Yourself to Someone You Don’t Know

Employers: Participate in the Career Fair (without leaving your booth) and find the next great member of your team. Meet with attendees interested in new employment opportunities. Share information about your organization and any job openings available; schedule interviews with prospective candidates. Post your positions online at anytime and we'll post them on our job boards.
